At NFSI it’s cool to be smart!

Please note that we need volunteers to assist the children. You do not have to know how to play chess. See the Volunteer Signup Form for more info on how to become a very important volunteer.

Chess is one of the most popular activities at NFSI. We meet for an hour after school on Fridays. And some kids go to outside tournaments.

• Our First Graders were Minnesota State Chess Champions in 2008-2009
• Our K-3 Team was tenth best in the Minnesota State Championship in 2008-2009
